"Doris – affectionately referred to as “Miss D” has been our dog walker/sitter for the past 7 years.   Prior to finding her, we took our dogs to a Kennel and dropped them off.  Each time we left, my husband and I felt terribly guilty.  We vowed that when we returned from that last drop off, we had to find a dog sitter.  We interviewed several people and selected Miss D because of her warm and caring attitude towards our three dogs.  They flocked to her when she came to the house and got so excited when they saw her car pull up in the driveway.   Although we started using her as a dog walker, we quickly realized that we felt perfectly comfortable leaving the dogs in her care while we went on vacation.   My husband recently retired and we no longer need a dog walker.  However, whenever we plan to go out of town, we immediately check with Miss D to make sure she’s available.  She not only cares for the dogs, but we trust her implicitly to stay in our home and care for it as if she would her own.  She takes care of everything from watering plants, collecting the mail, and light housekeeping.  We like and trust her so much that she has become a member of our family.  After seeing Miss D walk our dogs, our neighbors started inquiring about using her services.  Well obviously we were somewhat protective of our find, but we believe she also cares for other dogs in our neighborhood.  We would be remiss in not mentioning the many “goodies” Miss D has bestowed upon our pets and us as well.  She is always so kind and thoughtful of our dogs and brings them treats, cookies, and goodies all the time.   She also always kept us informed if any of our dogs seemed ill or out of sorts.  Also, when they were just plain lazy or stubborn! 😊  We cannot sing her praises highly enough.  She is an excellent pet caregiver, but a friend as well.  We don’t know what we would do without her."
